3 - 6 oz. packages of chocolate chips, either dark chocolate or milk chocolate
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 t. vanilla
pinch salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate in a pan on the stove; a double boiler is preferable. Remove from heat. Add sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, salt, and nuts (if desired). Stir until smooth. Turn into a wax-paper lined 8 inch square pan and chill. If the fudge gets too hard to cut easily, let it warm up a bit and then remove it from the pan for cutting. Store in an airtight tin or in the refrigerator.
