1 1/4 cups oil
2 eggs
3 cups sifted flour
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
3 cups chopped apples
1/2 cup black walnuts
1/2 cup English walnuts
2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup raisins
Directions:
Directions:
Mix oil, sugar, and eggs. Beat until creamy. Add flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Beat by hand. Add vanilla while beating. Add apples, nuts and raisins. Mix well. Batter will be very thick. Pour into tube or bundt pan. Bake at 325º for 80 minutes. Mix juice of 1 1/2 lemons and 1 cup powdered sugar. Blend until smooth and spread over hot cake. Place under broiler for 1 minute until bubbly.
