3/4 to 1 cup sugar
1 tsp of cinnamon
6-7 cups of sliced apples (peeled and cored) I prefer
honey crisp or jonagold apples. 3 tablespoons of cornstarch if the mixture is real juicy & pour off excess juice.
pour in pastry shell (Pillsbury Rolled Pie Shells)

dot with 1 1/3 tbsp butter
sprinkle top of pie with sugar and cinnamon

bake at 425 for 30-40 minutes (until crust is browned)
