1 bag of Silver Floss sauerkraut
2 tbsp diced bacon
1 small onion, chopped
1 small apple, peeled, cored and chopped
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp ground pepper
Salt to taste
1½ cups dry white wine
1 tbsp caraway seeds (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Mix all ingredients and put in an ovenproof baking dish. Bake for at least an hour and a half, adding more liquid if necessary. Wine, apple cider or water may be added if needed.
