16 large mushrooms
⅓ cup melted butter
1½ cups flaked crabmeat
2 eggs, lightly beaten
½ cup green peppers, finely chopped
½ cup scallions, finely chopped
½ cup soft bread crumbs
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter, chilled

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°. Grease a large baking dish. Dip the mushrooms into the melted butter, then place them rounded side down in the dish. Combine crabmeat, eggs, scallions, peppers, ¼ cup of the bread crumbs, mayonnaise and lemon juice in a medium-size bowl. Fill mushroom caps with the mixture, and sprinkle with remaining bread crumbs. Dot with butter.Bake 15 minutes or until crumbs on top are golden brown. Serve hot.
