3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tarter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites with vanilla and cream of tarter till soft peaks form.

Gradually add sugar, beating till stiff and glossy peaks form and all sugar is dissolve. Spread meringue over hot filling sealing edge of pastry.

Bake 350º for 12 to 15 minutes or meringue is golden. cool
