8 oz. of popped corn (available in the chip aisle at Wal- Mart) I buy Chester's Puff Corn, but any hulless corn will work
2 sticks of real butter ( no substitution's)
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In a large sauce pan melt butter, stir in corn syrup and brown sugar bring to a boil and cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda (will foam up). Place popped corn in large bowl and pour liquid over and mix well. Put on 2 large cookie sheets with sides or a large roaster. Bake for 45 minutes at 250º stirring every 10 minutes. Pour onto waxed paper to cool.

This will stick to the baking pan and become very brittle if not stirred every 10 minutes, so do not skip this step. Enjoy! It's very addictive that is why it is know as "Crack" corn.
