beef broth
drippings from roast
*onion powder
*1/4 tsp. of bay leaf
*salt and pepper
all purpose flour

Directions:
Use drippings from gravy and beef broth. If you have plenty of drippings to make gravy then don't use beef broth. Example ( crock pot roast beef) If you feel that your broth is not seasoned enough you can add ingredients* as suggested.
For 1 cup of broth- Take bowl or cup and add 1/4 of water and 1/4 cup of flour. Mix well. Add to the 1 cup of broth and add heat to the skillet or pot. Keep stirring and let it come to a boil. If it begins to thicken to quickly add more broth or water. Broth is better for flavor than adding. Keep that in mind to always have some extra broth set aside.

I like to take my gravy and cool down and put in refrigerator over night. The next day you can peel the top layer of hardened fat and discard. (Makes it healthier)
