1 C. sugar
1/2 C. butter
4 eggs
1 C. flour
1/2 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
16 oz. can Hershey's syrup

Mix all. Put in greased jellyroll pan and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Cool.

Icing

2 C. confectioners sugar
4 T. Creme de Menthe
1/2 C. butter

Beat and spread on cooled brownies. Note: I add 3-4 drops of green food coloring for Christmas brownies. I also add 1/4-1/2 t. mint extract to enhance the Creme de Menthe.

Then: Melt 6 oz. chocolate chips with 4-6 T. butter (I use 4 T.). Drizzle over icing.

For Christmas brownies: Sprinkle with crushed candy canes or peppermints.
