1 10 oz. pkg of frozen strawberries
1 c. sugar
2 egg whites
1 tbs. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie shell (10 in)
Directions:
Directions:
Place defrosted strawberries, sugar, egg whites, lemon juice, and salt in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed for 15 minutes or until mixture is stiff and holds it's shape. Whip the cream , add the vanilla, and fold into strawberry mixture. Pile lightly into the baked shell. Freezeseveral hoursor overnight. Garnish with strawberries if desired.
