2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups raw shelled peanuts
2 T. butter
2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan heat sugar, syrup, water & salt to a rolling boil.
Add peanuts.
Reduce heat to medium and stir constantly.
Cook to hard crack stage (293º F) take off burner.
Add butter stir in, then add baking soda. Will foam up.
Beat rapidly and pour on a buttered surfaced (large cooking sheet) to 1/4 inch thickness.
When cool break into pieces and store in plastic zip lock or container.

I used a spray (Pam ) instead of butter on pan.
