Directions:
Cream sugars, butter, oil, eggs, vanilla, & almond extract.
Sift flour, soda, salt, & cream of tartar.
Add sifted ingredients to creamed mixture. Mix well till light and fluffy.
Chill thoroughly or overnight.
I use melon ball tool or small baking scoop to make cookies uniform.
Have a small bowl of granulated sugar ready, drop the ball of cookie into the sugar -DO NOT ROLL IN THE SUGAR, just drop it in and pick it up and put it on an ungreased cookie sheet, sugar side up. Use the bottom of a glass to flatten the cookie. May dip in sugar to prevent sticking. Keep dough chilled, put in ice box between batches.
Bake 350º for 10 to 12 mins, until light golden brown round the edges.
Remove with spatula & put on WIRE COOKIE RACK, they are very fragile.©
