"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 jar of spaghetti sauce (we use a sauce that has chunk tomatoes in it)
1 box of ziti
Grated parmesan cheese
3 1/2 cups whole milk
3/4 cup flour
1 stick of butter
5 eggs, gently beaten
salt, pepper, garlic, and oregano (to taste)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the beef (you can add an onion if you like), once you finish add the spaghetti sauce to the meat and cover and let sit. Boil the noodles as directed on the package. After draining the noodles, I toss them with parmesan cheese. Take a 9x13 pan and put some noodles in the pan to come up about half way on the pan. (I sprinkle a little bit more cheese here.) Put a layer of meat sauce on top. Put the 3 1/2 cups of whole milk into a sauce pan and begin to heat it over medium heat. Then melt a stick of butter in a pan, add 3/4 cup flour. Take some of the warm milk and mix with the flour mixture, until it starts to become a tad smooth (I don't wait for it to get really smooth just enough that it's easy to break up when you whisk it with the milk.) Add this mixture to the milk in the sauce pan. Now season milk with salt, pepper, garlic, and oregano. Whisk in the eggs and continue stirring over medium heat until the cream sauce becomes thicker (I go to about a pudding thickness). Then pour the cream sauce over the top of the meat sauce and bake for 1 hour @ 350 or until the top is brown.

(I usually leave some plain spaghetti sauce for those that like it more saucy to add on their own.) This meal does dirty a dish or two, but I just try to wash the dish as I go and reuse it. And have patience it may seem like takes a bit of time but it is sooooooo worth it in the end!!!!

Hope everyone enjoys!!!! Love you all!!!!
