1 can/jar nopales
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2-3 serrano or jalapeno chiles, chopped
¼ cup cilantro, chopped
¼ cup olive oil
2 Tbsp vinegar
1 avocado, sliced
½ cup Romano or Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Strain nopales, rinse in cold water until the slippery substance is gone. Combine with the remaining ingredients except cheese. Season with salt; sprinkle with cheese. Serve cold.
