1 c. chicken broth
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
1lb. raw chicken bite size pieces
1/2c. sliced celery
1/4 small onion, diced
1 clove diced garlic
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1/4 c. cooking wine
2 Tbsp slivered almonds
1/2 c. sliced mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter in skillet and quickly brown the chicken pieces
in it. Add celery, onion, garlic and mushrooms. Saute. Add broth , soy sauce, and wine . Turn heat on low and simmer until the chicken is well cooked. Cornstarch (1 Tbs) may be used to thicken the sauce if desired. Serve over rice . Garnish with almonds.
Recipe may be prepared in crock pot after the chicken is browned.
