1 T. Dry Yeast
½ c. Sugar
½ c. Shortening
3 Eggs (beaten)
1 t. Salt
1 c. Milk (scalded)
5 c. Sifted Flour
½ c. Melted Butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in ¼ cup warm water. Cream sugar and shortening in mixer bowl. Beat in eggs and salt. Mix in dissolved yeast and cooled milk.
2. Add flour 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Knead on floured surface for 5-10 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
3. Place in greased bowl, turn, cover, and allow to rise in refrigerator overnight.
4. Roll into circle on floured surface. Spread with butter. Cut into 16 wedges. Roll up from wide end to point to form crescents.
5. Place on greased baking sheets and allow to rise until doubled. (About 1-2 hours)
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Brush rolls with additional butter.
