3 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
1 large box raisins
lemon jiuce
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Combine butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla and mix well.
Alternately add sour cream and flour mixture until well-blended.
Bake until golden brown around edges.
FOR RAISIN FILLED:
Heat together the box of raisins, sugar and lemon juice until thickened. Cut sugar cookie dough into circles, put tblsp of filling and add another circle on top. Pinch edges together and bake until golden brown.

These are Aunt Lee's famous raisin filled cookies. She gave me the recipe but I've never made them. The filling recipe had no amounts for the sugar and lemon juice - so I guess you just have to keep tasting it until it tastes the way you like it.
