Mix together:
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 ˝ sticks melted margarine
1/3 cup evaporated milk
Directions:
Directions:
Pad 1/3 of mixture into bottom of a greased 9x13 pan
Bake at 350° for 7 minutes

Melt over low heat:
1 bag of caramels
˝ cup evaporated milk

Pour over cake
Sprinkle a 12 oz. bag of chocolate chips (1 cup) over the caramel layer
Take the rest of the cake mixture and form small ‘patties’
Using the rest of the cake mixture, cover the caramel/chocolate layer with ‘patties’ of cake mixture
Bake at 350° for 18 minutes
