1 Cup cornmeal
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 /2 - 3/4 Cup of hot stock
Lg ham bone (with some ham left on it)

Directions:
Directions:
Cover ham bone with water. Bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer 30-40 min, Turn up to boil.
Mix remaining ingredients together and roll tablespoon of mixture into balls. Drop into boiling stock and cover . Cook 10-15 mins or until done.
Check for doneness after 10 min.

I told Christy (my daughter) I was looking for a recipe for cornmeal dumplings and she made the recipe for me. She can cook things with a recipe mostly by just tasting them.
