1/2 c. butter
2 squares (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate or 6 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and chocolate together. Fold in eggs and sugar to chocolate mixture. Add flour and vanilla. Heat waffle iron. Drop 1 tsp. dough on iron and cover. Bake 50 to 60 seconds. Take off, cool and frost.

Frosting:
1/2 square unsweetened chocolate or 1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tsp. milk
2 1/2 tbsp. butter

Boil 3 minutes. Add powdered sugar for easy spreading. Adding chopped nuts to cookies is an option.
