1 cup light karo syrup,
3 eggs slightly beaten
1 cup sugar,
2 T. margarine melted
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup pecans (whole)
1 unbaked 9" pastry shell

Directions:
Directions:
Mis all ingredients for filling, adding pecans last.
Pour into pasty shell.
Bake at 400º for 15 mins, than reduce heat to 350º and bake 30 to 40 mins or until center is no longer louse.
When pecan pie is done, outer edges of filling should be set , and center slightly soft. If pie is becoming to brown lay a sheet of aluminum foil on top of pie.©
