3/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup sweet onion, minced
2 tbsp. poppy seeds
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. worchestershire sauce
2 tbsp. hot or spicy mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
24 small dinner rolls (Hawaiian works well)
Horseradish mayonnaise
About 1 lb. thin sliced deli ham
About 1 lb. sliced swiss cheese


Directions:
Directions:
1. Line 2-9x13 baking pans with non-stick foil or butter the pans.
2. Prepare marinade. Saute onion in butter until tender and translucent. Add poppy seeds, garlic powder, worchestershire, mustard, and brown sugar. Heat until brown sugar is melted into sauce. Remove from heat, add parsley; mix. Allow marinade to cool while preparing sandwiches.
3. Slice each bun in half; place bottoms into pans. Spread horseradish mayonnaise on bottom buns; place folded slice of ham and slice of cheese on bottoms; cover with top of buns.
4. Pour marinade evenly over both pans of buns. Cover tightly with lid or foil; refrigerate overnight.
5. Prehead oven to 350º. Bake sandwiches covered for 25 minutes. Remove foil; bake uncovered an additional 10 minutes.
