1 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
3 c. cake flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 oz. chocolate (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve sugar into sour cream. Sift flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda together. Combine with the cream and sugar. If chocolate is used, melt and add last. Drop by 1/2 teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Makes 72 1-inch to 1 1/2-inch cookies.

This comes from an old cookbook dating to 1962 from the Culinary Arts Institute. My mom (Mary) had marked this one page in the book with a slip of paper and the words "Norwegian Kringle" on it.
