1 bag of dried peas
1 can of chicken broth
2 bay leaves
Salt and Pepper
Thyme
Dill weed
Carrots, celery, and onion
Cubed potatoes
Cooked ham/sausage

Directions:
Directions:
Wash peas. Put peas in cock pot with 1 1/2 qts. of boiling water and one can chicken broth. Put crock pot on High.

Add 2 bay leaves (take out water before you blend wth a wire wisk)
Add 1 1/2 tsp.salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1/4 tsp. thyme, and 1/2 tsp. dill weed.
Add 1/2 c. of sliced carrots, celery, and onion.
Add 1 c. of cubed potatoes, and 2 cups of cooked ham or suasage.

After all of the ingredients have come to a boil turn crock pot to low.
Simmer for at least one hour. Take out bay leaves and stir with the wire wisk.
Always have a cover on.
