1 pound ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 cups V8 juice
2 cans tomato sauce
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon oregano
1 package lasagna noodles
1 pound ricotta cheese
3/4 cup grated Romano cheese
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350º.

Brown ground been with onion and garlic. Stir in V8 juice, tomato sauce, mushrooms, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, parsley and oregano. Simmer 30 minutes stirring occasionally. The mixture should be saucy and not dried up.

Arrange half of uncooked noodles in bottom of 13 inch baking dish. Top with half of the meat sauce, ricotta, Romano, Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. Repeat layer. Sprinkle with parsley. Cover with foil and bake at for 40 minutes. Remove foil then continue baking for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, let stand for 20 minutes before cutting.
