1 pound butter, softened
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 (12 oz) pkgs. semi sweet chocolate chips
3 c. chopped macadamia nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, eggs, and vanilla in a bowl. In a different bowl, sift together the sugars, baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour. Combine dry mixture with egg/butter mixture. Add the chocolate chips and nuts. Shape into 1 inch balls and place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 10 to 11 minutes.
