3-4 tart apples
1 c. sour cream
2 Tbsp. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
Single pastry crust
Topping:
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. softened butter

Directions:
Directions:
Slice apples 1/4 inch thick. Chop into thirds. Combine sour cream, sugar, flour, salt, vanilla, and egg. Beat until sugar dissolves. Blend in apples. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 400º for 25 minutes. Mix topping ingredients until crumbly. Remove pie from oven and add crumble topping. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer until topping is brown.
