1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
1 T. water
1/4 c. corn syrup
2 T. water
1 c. almonds
6 oz. milk chocolate chips
6 oz. ground nuts

Directions:
Directions:
In Large microwave bowl, place butter(cubed), sugar and 1 T. water and cook on high for 4 minutes in microwave. Take out and stir with wisk briskly to creamy consistency. Continue to microwave on high to boiling point about 2 minutes. Add almonds and syrup mixed with water. Stir lightly and return to microwave. Cook on high until thermometer reaches 285º (about 12 minutes, but takes longer in some microwaves. Do not stir. Add chocolate chips and nuts until melted and spread out onto waxed paper.
