4 T Italian Seasoning Mix
2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Black Pepper
4 Bay Leaves
1/4 C Olive Oil
3/8 C Canola Oil
6 cloves garlic, pressed
2 C Chicken Broth

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Mix all ingredients in a bowl except the broth. Separate the skin from the breast meat of the turkey. Make small slits on the legs and separate the skin there as well. Using your hands, spread the seasoning under the skin of the breast and legs. Spread remaining seasoning over the top of the skin. Some seasoning can also go inside the turkey. Place the turkey in a roasting pan. Pour the broth in the bottom of the dish. Cover the front half of the turkey with an aluminum tent. Bake the turkey 15 to 20 minutes for every pound of turkey. After 1 1/2 hours, remove the tent and baste every 20 minutes until turkey is done. The meat thermometer should read 190º.
