4 Bosc Pears, peeled, cored and sliced
6 Apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 tsp grated orange zest
1 tsp grated lemon zest
2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 tbsp fresh squeezed orange juice
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
**1/2 c dried cranberries, optional

For the topping:
1 1/2 c all-purpose flour
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c light brown sugar, lightly packed
1/2 tsp salt
1 c oatmeal or rolled oats
2 sticks of butter

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º

Place the fruit in a large bowl and add the zests, juices, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour into a 9x12 by 2-inch oval baking dish.

For the topping:
Combine flour, sugars, salt, oatmeal, and butter in the bowl of an electric mixer. Mix on low speed for 1 minute, until the mixture is in large crumbles. Sprinkle evenly over fruit, covering it completely.

Place the baking dish on a cookie sheet and bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour, until the top is brown and the fruit is bubbly. Serve warm.
