yeast, 1 large cake or 2 small packages
1/2 c. warm water
2 heaping T. lard
1 T. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. hot water
1 c. milk
flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve the yeast in the warm water. In a large mixing bowl add lard, salt, sugar and the 2 1/2 c. of hot water. Add the yeast mixture and milk.
Add flour to stiffen. Let rise for 1 1/2 hours.
Bake at 325-350F for 50-60 minutes.
