1 lb. chow mein meat
1 T. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 beef bouillon cube
1 1/2 c. sliced celery
16 oz. can bean sprouts (drained)
8 oz. can sliced water chestnuts (drained)
4 oz. can mushrooms (drained)
1 1/2 c. water
2 T. soy sauce
2 T. cornstarch
2 T. water
2 cups chow mein noodles and/or rice

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet, brown meat in hot oil.

Add salt, ginger, bouillon cube, celery, bean sprouts, 1 1/2 c. water, vegetables, and soy sauce. Mix well, cover and simmer 15 minutes.

Blend corn starch and 2 T. of water until smooth. Gradually stir into meat mixture. Cook until mixture thickens and boils.

Serve over chow mein noodles and/or rice.
