1/2 cup sugar, 2 tsp. corn starch, 16 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice, 4 tbsp. water, 2 tsp. lemon juice, 2 tbsp. butter, dash of cinnamon and ground ginger.

Directions:
Directions:

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in pineapple with juice, water and lemon juice. Add butter and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Simmer over low heat 2 minutes.


Makes about 2 cups. Serve warm or cold over ice cream.
