¼ lb. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
20 oz can crushed pineapple, undrained
4-5 slices soft white bread, broken in small pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar, then eggs (one at a time)
Blend in pineapple
Pour into greased dish. Press bread into pineapple mixture
Bake 350 for 1 hour, until golden brown

I double the recipe and use a 9x13 glass dish.

My friend, Christine Poole from Gaithersburg, MD made this for every Easter and Thanksgiving meal when Jack and I would go to celebrate with her and her inlaws the Sunday before. What great, fun memories.
