3 cups water
1 cup vinegar
1/4 cups canning salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash fresh okra and pack into jars. Add 1 pepper and one garlic clove to each jar. Bring to a boil the vinegar, water and salt. Pour immediately over the okra. Tighten the caps and let ripen about 3 weeks.
