Ground Beef Mix
3 # lean ground beef
1 lg green pepper, finely chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 c water
1 tbsp plus 1 tsp beef flavored bouillon granules
2 medium onions, finely chopped
1/4 tsp pepper

Cook meat, green pepper and garlic in a large skillet over medium-high heat until meat browns and crumbles. Remove from skillet and drain well.
Add water and bouillon granules to skillet. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve granules.
Add onion. Cover, reduce heat to medium and cook 15 minutes. Uncover and cook 5 -10 minutes longer or until liquid evaporates. Stir onion mixture and pepper into beef mixture. Yield: 10 cups

Quick Spaghetti Sauce
1 16 oz can crushed tomatoes, undrained
1 16 oz can whole tomatoes, undrained
1 12 oz can tomato paste
2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
3/4 c water
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 tbsp white sugar
4 cloves minced garlic
1 1/2 tsp dried basil
1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground thyme
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley

Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer 25 minutes stirring occasionally. Add meat mixture or meat balls. Uncover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf. Serve over hot cooked spaghetti noodles. Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese.
