8 slices solid white bread
1-6 T. soft butter
1 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 c. raisins (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 pint Half and Half cream
1 pint whole milk

Directions:
Directions:
Break the bread into small pieces and place in an 8x8 inch. pan.
Drop small pieces of butter over the top of the bread.
Mix all other ingredients and pour over the bread.
Bake at 350º F until done, about 40 minutes.
