20 oz. hash brown shreds (Schwans)
4 strips thick sliced bacon, sautéed until well browned
1 can (10.75 oz.) condensed cream of onion soup
1 can (10.75 oz.) warm water
1 cup sliced onion
1/4 cup chopped green onion
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º F. In a large bowl, mix soup and water. Ad hash brown shreds, onion, green onion and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese to mix well. Transfer to a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and top with 1 cup cheddar cheese. Bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes. Top with sautéed bacon, crumbled.
