Ingredients:  
Crust....3/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 11/2 cups flour.

Middle....12 ounces cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 3/4 cup vanilla.

Top.... 2 cups sliced apples, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon.

Directions:
For the crust, cream butter and sugar, slowly add vanilla and flour. Work with your hands and press into bottom and up the sides of a greased pie plate.

Middle....Cream creamed cheese and slowly add sugar. Beat in 2 eggs and vanilla and beat until creamy. Pour over crust.

Topping....2 cups of sliced apples mixed with sugar and cinnamon. Mix together and spread over top of torte. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
