3 c. white sugar
1/3 c. water
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. white Karo syrup
3 c. raw peanuts
3 tsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Start with cookie sheet, cover with butter. Set aside. Mix sugar, syrup and water together, cook until mixture threads. Add peanuts and stir continuously cooking until syrup mixture turns light brown in color and peanuts are done. Remove from heat and add soda, salt, and butter. Stir until thoroughly mixed, and pour onto buttered cookie sheet. Rapidly spread as thin as possible (this will set up very quickly). After pan and contents have cooled - break pieces apart.
