1 pound fresh or frozen large shrimp in shells
1/4 cup ketchup 1/4 cup lime juice
1-2 t. bottled hot pepper sauce
1/2 cup chopped tomato
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup snipped fresh cilantro
2 avocados, chopped

Directions:
1. Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tails intact. Cook shrimp in slightly salted water 1-3 minutes or until they turn pink. Drain, and rinse under cold water, and place in large bowl.
2. For marinade combine ketchup, lime juice, and hot pepper sauce. Stir in tomato, onion, and cilantro. Pour tomato mixture over shrimp, toss to coat. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours; up to 4 hours.
3. Just before serving, add avocados and toss to coat. Serve in cocktail glasses or cups.
