1 6oz. package of lime jello
1 6oz. package of cherry jello
White filling:
2 C. sugar
1 pt. carton of whipping cream
1 pt. sour cream
4 envelops of Knox gelatin

Prepare jello:
Put 1 1/2 c. boiling water into two separate bowls.
Put one color jello into each bowl.
Stir to dissolve
Prepare white filling:
Dissolve Knox gelatin in 1 cup tap water.
Bring sugar and whipping cream to boil.
Add dissolved Knox gelatin.
Stir and let cool to moderate temp
Add sour cream.
Blend well
This recipe will make two 4 cup molds. I build them at the same time. Grease molds.
Keep the bowls of jello and the bowl of white filling on a very low temp to keep liquid but not hot.
Layer 3/4 c. jello--let harden in refrig. (about 25 minutes)
Spread 3/4 c. filling--let harden
Layer 3/4 c. of the other color jello--let harden
Repeat until all the jello and filling is used.
When ready to serve, dip mold in warm water for several seconds to loosen the sides. Invert on decorative glass plate and remove mold.
