To make balls: Ingredients- 2 cups flour + 3 extra large eggs well beaten + 1 teas baking powder + 1/2 teas salt +2 cups flour +1 teas baking powder. To make dough : Beat eggs Add baking powder, salt , flour. mix well; Knead dough for 15 min. Divide and roll into round strips ; Cut into very small pieces and deep fry until golden brown in very hot Mazola oil.

To make struffoli: Put 16 oz of honey into a large frying pan Heat the honey - stir constantly Test drop of honey until it makes a hard ball when dropped in cold water. Add fried balls of dough to pan. As it cools take out enough make into an number of pine cone shapes ( about 4-5 inches high) . Sprinkle with candy sprinkles and citron.
