1 c. softened butter
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Crust:
In a small bowl, cut together the flour, butter and chopped pecans with a pastry cutter or a couple of forks. Press evenly into the bottom of a 13x9x2 glass dish. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes, then cool completely.

Topping:
In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to combine cream cheese and powdered sugar. Fold in about 9 ounces of the Cool Whip and set this mixture aside, reserving the rest of Cool Whip for use later.

In another large bowl, use an electric mixer to thoroughly combine the powdered instant pudding mix with 3 c. milk. Let sit for 10 minutes to thicken.

Begin layering the toppings onto the cooled pastry: 1st cream cheese mixture, 2nd pudding, 3rd plain Cool Whip, then repeat these layers.

Roughly chop the Hershey and Heath bars and sprinkle on top of the final layer of Cool Whip.

Chill for a few hours and cut into delectable squares of yum.

Personal Notes:
An amazingly delectable dessert that is a favorite with the Picek/Candy kids: Michelle, Seth, Teresa, Jonathon, and Alex. Great for holiday indulgence, or to serve on birthdays if you want a non traditional cake. Never met a kid who didn't like it.
