1 large package of oreo cookies
1/2 cup melted margarine
1 large container of cool whip
1 can hersheys chocolate syrup ( I think 16 oz)
10 oz spanish peanuts
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
Crush oreo cookies, and reserve 1/2 to 3/4 cup. Mix remaining oreos with melted margarine. Pat firmly in the bottom of a 9 X 13 pan. Spread ice cream over oreo crust. Freeze for abou 1/2 hour. Then pour chocolate syrup evenly over ice cream, then sprinkle spanish peanuts over syrup. refreeze for about 1 hour, so layers stay firm and do not blend layers. Spread cool whip evenly over layers, then sprinkle with reserved oreo crumbs. Refreeze for several hours or overnight. Cut into squares and serve. This is an easy and awesome recipe my kids request often.
