Ingredients:  
1 (9 inch) deep pie shell, unbaked
5 large tomatoes, peeled, thick sliced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tsp. dried basil or 3 tbsp. fresh basil chopped
Garlic powder to taste
3/4 cup mayo
1¼ cup grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Bake pie shell 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven. Layer tomatoes in shell. Sprinkle each layer with salt, pepper, basil and garlic powder. Make 2 layers. Combine mayo and cheese. Spread over tomatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until browned and bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
