Instant Mashed potatoes - making 6 cups
Velveeta cheese
9x9 baking dish

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Brown the hamburger, then drain At same time, make the Instant Mashed potatoes according to box for at least 6 cups.
Slice Velveeta cheese about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch thick.
After draining the hamburger, spread evenly in bottom of baking dish. Then spread mashed potatoes on top of burger. Place the sliced Velveeta on top on mashed potatoes trying to cover from edge to edge.
Bake until cheese is melted. Allow to cool for a few minutes...this dish gets really hot.
I serve with the Pillsbury buttery crescent rolls.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
NOTE: My family loves this dish! It also allows for variation to fit your taste. We like equal parts burger and mashed potatoes, but you can easily cook less hamburger or more potatoes and it is sill just as tasty. It is also really easy to double if you want to make enough for a 9x13 dish. I have started to place Velveeta cheese in between the burger and potato layer as well as on top.
