5 cups self rising flour (White Lily)
1 cup Crisco
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 cup warm water
2 cups buttermilk
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine yeast with sugar, soda and milk. Mix in flour, yeast and crisco. Refrigerate for a little bit before using. Take out as much as needed and roll out on floured surface. Cut out with biscuit cutter and bake. Brush tops with melted butter just before done. Keep rest of dough covered in refrigerator. Will keep for 2 weeks.
