1 1/4 c.. margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
3 c. oats
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. self rising flour
1/4 tsp.nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 F. Beat softened margarine and sugars together. Add egg, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg, beating until well mixed. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Drop by teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes. Note: You can add chopped nuts, coconut, raisins or chocolate chips for variety. These are delicious.
