1 med onion, diced
salt & pepper to taste
2 slices smoked ham, diced
1/3 cup red wine
1 – 2 Tbsp butter
JagerSobe (seasoning)
1 med can mushrooms, undrained

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare Wiener Schnitzel as directed in previous recipe and set in oven to keep warm. Reserve drippings and add onions, ham, mushrooms, red wine and simmer. With ½ juice and water, mix in JagerSobe. Pour together and stir. Serve over schnitzel as sauce. Garnish with fresh lemons and use as jest for fillet. Yummm!

I learned this dish while living in Germany and attending a German cooking class. This is one of the many variations to the recipe Wiener Schnitzel.

Note: Jager-Sobe is a "Hunter Sauce" mix that you can find in gourmet shops or online at amazon.com. It is a product of Germany.

Prepare Wiener Schnitzel as in recipe.
